Health Screenings

On October 14, Seminole County Public School’s Health Services in collaboration with the Seminole County Health Department will be conducting health screenings for students in PK, K, 1st & 3rd at Woodlands Elementary School. Students may be screened for height, weight, BMI (body mass index), and dental health.


On January 16, Seminole County Public School’s Health Services in collaboration with the Seminole County Health Department will be conducting hearing screenings for students in PK, K, 1st & 3rd at Woodlands Elementary School.


On February 27, Seminole County Public School’s Health Services in collaboration with the Seminole County Health Department will be conducting vision screenings for students in PK, K, 1st & 3rd at Woodlands Elementary School. Children that wear glasses or contact lens must wear them for the screenings.


A student will be exempt from any of the screening services if his/her parent/guardian requests an exemption in writing to the principal at the latest 5 days before the screening date.
