Important Information About Measles

On April 10th, our third, fourth, and fifth grade students that  read this year’s Sunshine State Books participated in the voting process. With their voter registration cards in hand, students entered the media center, presented voting cards, and signed-in Following on the voting sheet.  check-in, students were given a quick tutorial on how to navigate through the touch screen voting. Filled with excitement, students proceeded to the voting booths to cast their vote for the best book. And the winner is…for Woodlands Elementary…. It’s a tie! Stranded and When Life Gives You OJ!

Woodland Students “Taking Excellence Another Mile”

Seven Woodlands Elementary School students participated in  the Oddyssey of the Mind State Competition on Saturday, April 11th in the University of Central Florida Arena.  Woodlands team participated in Problem 1: Runaway Train .  The team had to design, build and operate one or more vehicles traveling on tracks and making stops without touching the floor.  The vehicle had to overcome obstacle such as moving up hill, towing, and more.  Congratulation to the Woodlands Team on your outstanding performance.
